The hotel was very central, right next to Grafton Street and a shopping mall on the corner. Everything we wanted to see was a short walk away and we did walk to many places including Trinity College and Dublin Castle. Lots of bars, cafes, and traditional pubs are close by. The hotel was very nice inside, clean and modern with helpful staff. The room had been recently renovated and was all new. Very spacious, with a good wardrobe/closet size for 2 people. The bathroom was great - they had the same shower head/system as us at home and good water pressure. The bathroom toiletries had a lovely smell. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best breakfasts we have experienced and we travel a lot. My husband was eating three courses for breakfast every day, starting with fruit pots, then a hot cooked meal, and ending with something sweet, like a chocolate croissant or mini muffins with jam. The hot breakfast menu was excellent, and there were bars with all sorts of other things for you to choose from - cereals, yogurt pots, baked goods, etc.

We liked everything! The location was absolutely perfect! Walking distance to all of the sites. Grafton street is just around the corner and only a 10 min walk to Temple Bar area. The room was really quiet even though facing the park and street we were not disturbed by any noise at all. Mini bar was complimentary and surprisingly lots to choose from, spirits, ciders and beer plus sodas and water. The water was restocked everyday as well as the mini bar but only with alcohol free drinks wich was more than generous. The room was cleaned every day. Bathrobes very comfy. Breakfast was super. You had a very nice buffé with youghurts, smoothies, breads, cold cuts, fruits, pasty and so much more. You ordered your hot choice from a menu, and you must try the baked eggs, simply delicious! We had a dinner meal at the bar restaurant, Fish and chips, and the steak. Both really nice. We asked to have a late checkout and got an extra hour without any problems. All staff was amazing. We would absolutely go back.

Upgraded to a balcony view over St Stephen’s Green which was a really nice surprise. We had evening drinks outside as it was mild for October. We also watched the runners participating in the Dublin marathon. Breakfast was superb. Beautifully cooked breakfast with an excellent range of cooked options. The avocado on wheaten bread and scrambled eggs and pancakes with bacon were both wonderful. Service excellent, helpful, professional staff. Breakfast also Included lots of continental breakfast options. Fruit, smoothies, yoghurt compote, breads, pastries, cereal, honeycomb, just delicious! Had a minibar in the room too which was a nice touch. Turndown service which gorgeous chocolates at nighttime. Fantastic venue for visiting Dublin. Luas Tram right outside the hotel, as well as horse and carriages. St Stephen’s Green shopping centre a 1 min walk from hotel. Would recommend.

It’s grand and luxurious- modern and fresh - Yet it maintains an old world charm. The location is Prime. This hotel could easily charge double what it does and it would still be well priced. The staff is HIGHLY professional in all of their knowledge, but very personable,..as though they were friends that owned an Inn and cared about your comfort and needs I am a seasoned traveler and CAN NOT say enough about this spectacular hotel. If there were Michelin stars for hotels - this would garner 5. As it stands, I give it a 10+ out of 10 hotel rating in every category. Thank you Aileen at reception for giving “above and beyond,” in response to all of my eccentric needs and queries. As an aside, I extended my stay twice. That says everything.

Florence

Every single staff member was warm, professional and kind. They really are the pride of this hotel. There were lots of little extras - chocolates at bedtime, and luggage delivered to my room when it became available. The location is superb. You are right beside Grafton Street for shopping, as well as being spoiled for choice in terms of nearby restaurants and bars. There’s a tram stop across the road, and a taxi rank nearby if you want to venture a little further. Glovers Alley, the on site Michelin Star restaurant, was a real treat. Delicious food, with first class service!
