The hotel was very central, right next to Grafton Street and a shopping mall on the corner. Everything we wanted to see was a short walk away and we did walk to many places including Trinity College and Dublin Castle. Lots of bars, cafes, and traditional pubs are close by. The hotel was very nice inside, clean and modern with helpful staff. The room had been recently renovated and was all new. Very spacious, with a good wardrobe/closet size for 2 people. The bathroom was great - they had the same shower head/system as us at home and good water pressure. The bathroom toiletries had a lovely smell. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best breakfasts we have experienced and we travel a lot. My husband was eating three courses for breakfast every day, starting with fruit pots, then a hot cooked meal, and ending with something sweet, like a chocolate croissant or mini muffins with jam. The hot breakfast menu was excellent, and there were bars with all sorts of other things for you to choose from - cereals, yogurt pots, baked goods, etc.

Fantastic location - on St Stephen’s Green and at the top of Grafton Street, which makes it a top location for shopping, nightlife and walking about the city. The staff are all lovely and friendly - and don’t change much, which says a lot about the owners. The hotel continually refurbs/refreshes rooms and everything is superbly designed and laid out. New bar downstairs is lovely and their cocktails have gone to another level - Paulo recently joined their team and is a master of cocktail making. Carpark directly underneath hotel with lift to lobby. I stay there regularly, sometimes for work and other times for leisure. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

My stay at The Fitzwilliam was probably one of the best hospitality experiences of my life. EVERYTHING from the staff at check-in to the gorgeous room and the thoughtful housekeeping exceeded my expectations. I have stayed at more expensive and more "luxurious" hotels without feeling the genuine care and attention to detail that infused every aspect of my stay there. My travelling companion and I were really impressed by the many small touches and gestures that made this a very memorable experience. Thank you, Fitzwilliam!!!

We arrived by car and from that moment were welcomed by exceptional staff, who took care of everything, going above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. An outstanding service, even in the heightened busy Christmas period. Our room was upgraded for free on arrival, and the room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Not to mention the location, right at the top of grafton street- it couldn’t have been better. I would definitely recommend, and can’t wait to return!

Breakfast was amazing! The bar in the evening was very nice and relaxing. Look for DIEGO, he usually works in the bar. He's a SUPER nice person and so helpful. He was one reason that made this hotel memorable for us. The food in the bar is delicious as well. In walking distance to pretty much everything. We walked to the Guinnes Storehouse. The only thing we drove to was the Gaol. I recommend taking a hop-on hop-off bus. The hotel booked this for us with a discount.
